My Experience At The Tempe 6th Street Market
I love discovering new places and activities to do around the Phoenix valley. So, I was so happy when I found out about the 6th Street Market in Downtown Tempe!
The 6th Street Market is a weekly artisan market. It takes place every Sunday at the City Hall Plaza in Downtown Tempe. It has around 30/40 different vendors offering anything from food, handmade art, and other various goods. If you like to shop local, you should definitely go! By the way, the food is delicious.
The weather has been amazing here in Phoenix lately, so going to the 6th Street Market is a perfect outdoor activity. They have live music and every week, you’ll discover a new performer. Let’s support them!
Also, the market is dog-friendly for anyone who wants to walk around with their dog. Overall, this market is very family-friendly and they have a lot of different activities you can enjoy. They have seasonal programming like the Halloween Part and now the special holiday-themed market.
P.S.: Santa is coming this year and he is going to take selfies with you on November 25th and December 9, 16 & 23. How cool, right?
Now you’re probably wondering, what about the parking? Thankfully, there is free parking at all street meters on Sundays. What more reason to come and check out the market?
I went to the market for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I had so much fun wandering around and loving every dog I saw. Sometimes, you just need to go out and find new places to go around your city. Tempe has a lot to offer, so you should go definitely to the 6th Street Market–it will be a wonderful time! The vendors are so nice and I’m all about supporting the community.
