The Best Skincare Products For Summer
It’s been awhile since I last posted about my favorite beauty products of the month. I haven’t really done much skincare product shopping–I received so many free samples or sponsored products in the last couple of months that I didn’t have any personal favorites. So last month, I finally did a little skincare shopping at Sephora!
On the blog today I’m featuring skincare products that are amazing for those who live in a desert or a very dry climate like Arizona. Now, let’s begin this list:
The Best Skincare Products For Summer
- Evian Facial Spray: This is my to-go product and I used it on a daily basis. It’s been so hot in Phoenix lately, so you need to refresh your face during the day. This product is perfect to take along with you in your bag. I always have it with me. I use it right before I leave the house and head to work, during my lunch break when I go out in the heat and maybe one last time during the evening. Evian Facial spray helps you to feel fresh during the day and moisturized.
- Belif-The True Cream Aqua Bomb. I ran out of moisturizer for day and night. So when I went to Sephora, I told them I wanted something I could use both day and night and suits the warm weather. I have sensitive skin, so I also wanted something fragrance free. I have combination skin (oily T zone and dry cheeks), so the Sephora girl introduced me to this cream. It’s a Korean brand, and you must know Koreans are obsessed with skincare and they are amazing. The cream is very fresh and moisturizing. You don’t need a lot of product because a little goes a long way. So far, I love it. I love applying it to my freshly washed face morning and night.
- Ole Henriksen Serum: When the girl from Sephora helped me with my moisturizer, I told her that I need a serum to help add some brightness to my face. She right away told me about this product. Not only does it help to brighten your face, but it also adds hydration. Again, I love anything that helps to hydrate your skin in this desert. It has a citrus scent because of the vitamin C it contains. I only got the travel size to try out and so far, I like it very much. Next time, I will buy the full size.
- L’occitane Hand Cream for Dry Skin: This is another product I use on a daily basis. My hands get dry during the day and this cream is fabulous. It costs around $10. For me, it’s worth it every cent.
- Kristen Ess The Purple Shampoo: Before dying my hair dark, I had highlights for 2 years and my hairstylist always told me to get purple shampoo to help with the blonde hair. I never found one that I really like and also, purple shampoo can be expensive. So I was glad to find Kristen Ess’s new hair line. It has a lot of products for blondes. I bought their shampoo and conditioner and love it! They’re a good price and are high quality. I’m so sad I got my hair dyed darker, because I still have them. So I guess I will need to go back to blonde.
If you guys try out any of these products, be sure to let me know in the comments below! If you’re a desert girl like me, they’re amazing for keeping your skin fresh while surviving the heat.
