My Phoenix Staycation at Royal Palms
This summer, I did a staycation at the Royal Palms in Phoenix, Arizona. I had seen beautiful pictures of the resort from events and other people staying there. You guys should follow their wedding accounts. I love it! I’m hoping that one day, I can get married there.
Now, going back to my staycation. Royal Palms is known for their Spanish architecture and accents. When you’re there, you really feel like you’re in Europe–not in Phoenix. It’s a hidden gem located near Camelback Mountain.
The moment you arrive, you’re greeted by their staff. I had a friendly doorman who helped me with my luggage and check-in. The front of the resort is so pretty. You can’t help but take a picture by their stairs.
After check-in, I went to my room. I was able to stay in one of their suites. The room was huge and the bath took my breath away. I knew I was going to take a bath at the end of my day. The bed was so big and comfy. I couldn’t help but jump on it and dance a little!
During check-in, the man at the front desk told me that at noon, they offer complimentary champagne for all guests. Of course, I went to get a glass. Their guest services are 5 stars. Everyone was so nice, helpful and always had a smile. I felt welcomed throughout my whole stay.
Next, I went to the pool. I got a cabana. Their is has the perfect size–not too big but not too small. The music was the perfect volume. It wasn’t like the typical Scottsdale pool party. Instead, I was able to enjoy the sun and have a relaxing day. I ordered a piña colada and a burger. OMG! I attacked the burger for sure. Then, I spent hours by the pool. It was just the perfect summer day.
After the pool, I took a relaxing bath while drinking wine and enjoying the plate of fruit I got from Royal Palms. I have no words to express how thankful I am to the resort and the staff for such a wonderful time. I was talking with my boyfriend about how I want to go back for my birthday or our anniversary. Thank you Royal Palms!
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Phoenix, Royal Palms is the perfect location. It’s on the border between Phoenix and Scottsdale, which is great because you can go enjoy everything each city has to offer. You can also hike Camelback Mountain or simply never leave Royal Palms. Everything you need is right at the resort!
