Get the Look: Aqua Blue
Hello my petites! I’m writing right now from the Center of Helsinki while drinking a hot white chocolate latte with a piece of Finnish chocolate. Yes, here in Finland when you order coffee, they give you a piece of chocolate. What a wonderful time to be alive! So far, my vacation in Finland has been great. I like to called it “The Vikings Chronicles”.
People are so nice here. The language is so difficult, but if you know the basics (hello, goodbye, thank you, cheers, yes, and no) you can make it. Also, everyone speaks English here. The cold is not so bad. It gets to be around 50, but you can survive with a leather jacket. I can go to the center of Helsinki by public transportation without getting lost. I’m kinda proud of myself. This weekend, I’m going to Turku for a music festival where my favorite band, Bastille, will be playing. You can follow all my “Vikings Chronicles” in my Instagram Stories.
Now, let’s talk about today’s outfit. I’m not a colorful person. I love wearing black and white, but this summer, I can’t stop buying light blue or as the fashion designers like to called it: Island Paradise Aqua Blue. That’s too long for me…so let’s go for Aqua or Baby Blue.
This color is so feminine and elegant. It reminds me a lot of Cinderella’s dress. I found this dress from Zara. I was looking for a fun and cute dress for Easter and my best friend’s baby shower last April, and nailed it! Not only is it a beautiful aqua blue and makes me look like a cupcake, but it has pockets! Yes, it makes me so excited that it has pockets. We need to be practical, people.
I paired my dress with my glitter golden heels, again, because this dress reminds of Cinderella’s dress, so I wanted to wear my most dreamy heels. How cute is the whole outfit? For a final touch, my favorite summer dress from Nordstrom (it’s only $12). In the end, the whole outfit has an Parisian look and feel. This is definitely my favorite look for summer.
