My Favorite Beauty Products: May
It’s no secret that I’ve always dealt with skin problems.
In the past years, I’ve talked about my acne problem on my back and shoulders. I’ve tried Neutrogena, Clearasil, Asepxia (a Mexican skin care brand), and even going to the doctor. I’ve tried expensive products, cheap products, and everything in between. I guess I’m a skin care junkie, which is why I want to start a new series on my blog where each month, I round up my favorite skin care products. This month, I’ll be talking about a brand called “Clarisea“.
Clarisea is a vegan skin care brand. What I love about these products is that they are primarily made of sea salt. In case you didn’t know, sea salt is great for your skin. It helps with a lot of skin products and leaves you with glowing, new skin. Every time you go to the beach, try rubbing your skin with sea salt…but back to talking about the product!
Any of you guys have oily skin like me? When I saw that these products had charcoal, I started dancing, because charcoal kills oily skin. The Skintox Activated Charcoal salt bar is by far my favorite product out of the line. Since day 1 of using it, I’ve seen the difference and noticed that my skin is much clearer the next day. My pores have been great!
The exfoliator is amazing. It’s purple, which is my favorite color! This product helps with those annoying blackheads. So, say goodbye to your nose blackheads. Use it for 2-3 weeks, and I guarantee you’ll see amazing results. To use the product, you will need to mix it in your hands with your favorite cleanser (mine right now is Neutrogena’s Pink Grapefruit face wash). Then, rub your hands together until it’s mixed and apply it to your face. Immediately, you will feel how your skin is more fresh. I just love it!
I also love a good face mask. My Sundays are all about wearing one to start the week off right. Clarisea’s mask also has charcoal, which really clears out my pores. With this one, you can use it as a mask or as a cleansing clay. To be honest, I use more as a mask because the bar does a good job of cleaning my face.
You will also be happy to know that this line is very affordable. All of there products are around $20 or less. You can buy them in packets, which is even cheaper. Usually vegan products are expensive, but Clarisea is affordable and totally work. They help to moderate my breakouts and especially my oily skin that gets worse during the summer months.
