How to be Parisian
There is no book more parisian than this one. When I heard about it I didn’t doubt for a second and bought it. Anne Berest, Audrey Diwan and Sophie Mas take you to Paris and show you the parisian life and style.
They give you advice on how to behave, live, act and dress like a parisian. The read is very simple. Parisian humor is written on every page. I must admit you learn some very interesting facts, like how the most famous parisians are actually foreigners (Marie Antoinette, Sophie Mas and Anne Berest).
To make it short, How to be Parisian’s most important topic is teaching you how to be self-confident. It’s about embracing your imperfections (your big nose, the gap between your teeth), being as natural as possible (don’t dye your hair, don’t use too much make up, maybe just concealer underneath your eyes and a bit of mascara on your eyelashes) and walk confident about yourself. It’s a very entertaining book, you will laugh at some advices, for example: In a dinner with friends start conversations talking about sex. You can also find at the end of the book some restaurants, cafés and places to visit while in Paris.

No hay libro más parisino que éste. Cuando supe de su existencia no dudé en ir a la librería más cercana y comprarlo. Anne Berest, Audrey Diwan, y Sophie Mas te llevan a conocer la vida y el estilo parisino. Te dan consejos de cómo comportarte, vivir, actuar y vestirte como una parisina.
La lectura es muy simple. El humor parisino lo puedes notar en cada página. Debo admitir que aprendes datos muy interesantes, cómo que las parisinas más famosas realmente son extranjeras (Marie Antoinette, Sophie Mas y Anne Berest).
En resumen de lo que más trata el libro es enseñarte a ser segura de ti misma. Acepta tus imperfecciones (tu nariz grande, el hueco de tus dientes), se lo más natural posible (no te pintes el cabello y no uses mucho maquillaje, a lo mejor concealer debajo de tus ojos y poca máscara en tus pestañas) y camina segura de ti misma. La lectura es muy divertida y te vas a reír de algunos consejos, por ejemplo: En una cena con amigos comienza la plática hablando de sexo. También al final del libro te dan nombres de restaurantes, cafés y lugares a donde ir en París.
